Solaria Labs is the innovation arm set up by Liberty Mutual, a global Fortune 500 insurance company. The team is focused on building new insurance products and solutions for the Asia markets based on trends that are shaping the future of protecting our customers and managing their risks. Solaria Labs East (Asia) has been in operation for 3+ years and has a diverse team that spans capabilities across Consumer Research, UX, Product, and Engineering. What inspired you to join the company?

I really enjoy the process of building something from scratch and being in a space that is constantly evolving. Insurance is quite an old-school industry. There is a lot of potential to improve our products to make them more relevant for the everyday consumer and create more customer-friendly experiences. I joined Solaria when we first launched in Boston because it gave me the opportunity to build a team with a mission of driving the future of insurance.

What is a life quote that you live by?

Any hobbies outside of work?

I am a health-and-fitness nut. I work out 5 - 6 times a week, mixing up my routine with weightlifting, high-intensity interval training, yoga, and tennis. I set a yearly goal of how many times I need to work out and actually keep track of it!
